COMPTON (CNS) -- A motorcyclist was fatally injured on Wednesday in a traffic accident on the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in the Compton area, authorities said.

The accident, apparently involving the motorcycle and another vehicle, was reported about 5 a.m. near Alondra Boulevard, said California Highway Patrol Officer Anthony Martin. The motorcyclist died at the scene, Martin said.

Three southbound lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the death, creating a huge traffic backup.

I just wanted to tell the Fam bam to ride safe. This morning on the way to work a rider passed me on an R6 (if I aint mistaking) And all I saw was headlights spining and sparks everywhere. Not Sure what happend but I pulled over as soon as I was able to, but I was about a mile down from him. So called 911 and reported it. Well, got to work and listened to the radio and that rider died... Fucked up! But, I felt really angry for some reason??? IDK why...This happened around 5:15 AM this morning @ the 710 south and Alondra Blvd. That is all....

Also:on 210/2 freeway interchange...Freeway shut down this morning...Biker found dead and shot...Report sates,biker found shot dead,with no t shirt on.And his colors were taken...He was a MONGOL...
