Websense homie. I setup a websense server to monitor all internet activity throughout my corporation including the 33 remote offices we have in so. cali. All of my cisco pix firewalls send the www requests to the websense server, the policy i created on the server decides if the user can view the site or block it.
You can't get around this. the only thing is bring in a laptop with a wireless internet card.

There are a couple of options.  Of course, depending on how good the system is set up, then it will be harder.  Yet, most typical ways around things like this is:

One:
You can go on line, look for proxy server ip address and port address.  Or even subuscribe to some anonymous type of web surfing sites that help you do this.
You can get by this if you have a proxy server to connect to.  This will route your internet traffic though that server and bypass websense (intenet motoroting system).
You can look it up on-line to see how to do it.  If you have the IP adress and Port number, then you goto:  Open Internet Explorer, tools, internet options, click on the tab that says "connections", then click on "LAN Settings" and put a check next to proxy server and put in the proxy server and port number.

Two:
If you have friends with VPN connections, you can set up a VPN tunnel and route your traffic though that.

Three:
If you know someone in the IT Department, find out if they have a proxy or ip address that  you use in place of the proxy (as stated in One above.)  Or if you can, have them put your IP address as an exception to the web logging rule set.

Four:
Don't fuck around on the net and work.  haha.

Some other ways but it's too complicated to write here and even do sometimes.

oh, you can try this, not sure if it's working still:

What I would do is only check the site(s) like 2-3 times a day from work...this way they dont see you on one site for longer then say 5-15 mins..make sure to log out

but I can tell u this...Myspace might get u busted ...its considered a Social Networking site and they may say u are chatting away and not working....
