Having a bike stolen aint no fun...
« on: May 06, 2008, 03:01:59 PM »
Hey fellas!  I am near completion of closing out my motorcycle theft claim with my insurance company, which is a pain in the butt!  I can't wait to get my new set of two wheels and get out there to ride again...any advise on what type of motorcycle I should look into buying next?

Get like a 1992 bike. They probably won't steal it, lol.

SO you have to wait 30 days for them, just in case they find it? How long after the 30 days are up before they hand you a check?

600 is too small, and 1000 might be too much, you cant go wrong with a 750, a little of both worlds, but make sure its a SUZUKI...lol

awh, dude just get what you like and feel comfortable on.
600, unless you are a track racer, you're not going to out ride that bike.  great for canyons.  just lacking on kick for straight high speed runs, yet just a few seconds to get to high speeds than 1000cc.

750 overall, a great all around bike, stunt, canyons and every day riding with some power to it.

1000 good bike, has the kick, stuntworthy, as well, new bikes have better gearing for canyon riding.  yet, don't need the power in the canyons.

any bike, does not matter, you control the power and can learn on it.  so, you get what you can afford and feel comfortable on.
