I don't know if this is helpful or not but here goes.

When I started looking at getting a bike I shopped insurance and it was CRAZY high, so high I couldn't justify it, BUT then I called my insurance agent...what a concept...lol

I am with state farm and it seems they don't care about all the other things the other insurance co's look at.

All they are concerned with is how long you have been driving, ( total not motorcycle ) your record and the cc's of your bike, thats it!

Progressive was 7K or something nuts and state farm was $600 for the year with the same coverage as the rest of my cars and I carry high limits :)

Call your agent or just call state farm and see what they say.

BTW I don't even have a motorcycle license yet and thats the quote I got and they know I don't have it yet...lol

Good luck!
