PS3 connect to computer monitor

Does anyone know how to hook up a PS3 to a computer monitor? I have the co-axial cable hooked up to the TV in the cabin I'm staying at for work and that shit don't work. Only got a black screen so I gave up to try the cpu monitor.

Ey I figured it out on..... wait for it...............google. thanks ICE.

I held onto the power button for like 10secs then that somehow adjust the port your using. I probably gonna have to do the same when I plugg it back into my HDtv (using HDMI).
