dont get started with payroll here.  It has been a nightmare for thousands of employees.  I been lucky I guess with no problems.  But I have had two of my employees quit because they did not get paid in a 9 month period.

I hear ya bro...one of the ladies down the street from me works for LAUSD and she lost her house cuz she didn't get paid in over 6 months ....

I will assume in the coming months/years that there will be lawsuits over this

Believe it or not, the district has a letter you can send to your creditors.  I always got paid on time, but I tried to get a letter (I am to lazy to pay what I owe) and they said nope, you one of the lucky ones that gets paid on time.  Daaaaaaaaaamn it like busta load joe would say.
