You know, a while back I would hear of riders, bitching because they had no where to ride to, or they were not welcome wherever they liked to chill, etc.. Then it was that no one would host bike night events because of this or that, so that brings me to my next point:
Now that we have places like Cycle Gear, Hooters, Motorhelmets.com, or other spots in your neck of the woods, that put themselves out there for the sportbike rider, for the cruisers, for all of us... "some" people will still complain about having bike nights here and there, riding too much or too many events to go to....
If we have learned anything in our two wheel community, it is that we were at one time, NOT welcome anywhere. So if there are establishments willing to let you park there, eat there, meet there, even give ya discounts on food or beer... then be greatful! Because we can all remember when we used to get kicked out of the Steak n shake in lakewood, ca or even the city of Whittier, escorted out to the city limits, run off from Hollywood, or harrassed in Seal Beach, and thrown out of ITZ in North Carolina, for wearing our colors.
Lets be greatful that these people want our money and want our presence. The least we can do is attend their events and buy their food, drinks, and products. Support them as they support you. We all know how it feels to not have a place to kick it and call our own.
